ABOUT
Amadou Kromah is a photographer based in Madison, Wisconsin, who gained national recognition in 2017 when he placed Silver in the Nation after competing in the photography category for the NAACP Youth Act-So Program. He has since gone on to photograph performances by Boyz ll Men, Earth Wind And Fire, Patti LaBelle, Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. He has worked for numerous local and national organizations, such as American Family Insurance, University of Wisconsin-Madison, The Overture Center for the Arts, The Wisconsin Historical Society,YWCA, Urban League and the NAACP-to name a few.
Mr.Kromah has been a photographer since 2014 and has worked professionally in the areas of portraits, high fashion, landscapes, travel, entertainment and event work. He believes the best part of being a photographer is all of the great people he gets to meet.
Amadou has exposed teens to digital photography work and been featured as an artist in residence for the Madison Public Library, and has had exhibits featured at the Goodman Community Center for the Arts and the Wisconsin State History Museum.
